Cancellation Policy

Ceremony Details for (Names of Clients) Date of Ceremony: Location: Type of Ceremony: Time: Ceremony Fees We engage the services of Debra Massey to create and deliver the above ceremony. 50% deposit is due within 14 days after the first consultation and return of the signed booking form. Remaining 50% is due one month before the ceremony, once preparation is complete. Fee includes travel, a ceremony certificate, symbolic actions, multiple drafts, vows and reading options, and a complimentary Souvenir Script (usually £50). Terms & Conditions 1. Booking and Payment a) Payment can be made via cash, cheque, or bank transfer to Hand On Heart Celebrant Ltd. Bank details are available on the website. b) Cheques require 10 working days to clear. Make payable to Hand On Heart Celebrant Ltd. c) The ceremony will not be delivered without full cleared payment. d) A contract is only formed once payment is received. If not accepted, any deposit paid will be refunded. e) Any changes or cancellation by you after confirmation are subject to the cancellation terms below. 2. Cancellation or Modification by Debra Massey I will make every effort to conduct your ceremony as agreed. However, I reserve the right to modify or cancel the booking in unforeseen circumstances. In such a case, a full refund or suitable alternative will be offered. No additional compensation will be provided. 3. Cancellation by You If you cancel after booking confirmation or fail to make final payment, the deposit will be forfeited. A 14-day cooling-off period applies from the date of booking. If you cancel by email within this period, a full refund will be issued. 4. Warranties and Liability I will deliver the ceremony with due care and professionalism. I am not liable for errors caused by incorrect details provided by you. My liability is limited to the amount paid for the ceremony. 5. Intellectual Property Ceremony scripts and content remain the intellectual property of Debra Massey and Hand On Heart Celebrant Ltd. These may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.
